Leilani

Beautiful and talented 18 year old, singer/songwriter, Leilani, grew up in a musically inclined family in Orlando, where she remembers listening to everything from the luscious earthy tones of Billy Holiday and Patsy Kline to the early rock-n-roll rhythm of The Beatles and the Pretenders.

Now, as an artist herself, her music is heavily influenced by current artists such as Jack Johnson and Ben Harper. Leilani has an innate talent to express a wide range of emotions into her lyrics, which are so universal and yet specific, at the same time.

She has written songs like “Nonsense” which is a tribute to the token “drunk guy” everyone sees at every party. This song is her playful plea for a little sobriety. Other tracks like “When She’s Lonely” and “Another Memory” showcase a more vulnerable side of this alternative vixen. On these tracks her sultry voice is simply irresistible. Inevitably “Hollywood” is an enchanting celebration of youth and may be the hallmark on the horizon of success that awaits Leilani.

She is an expressive young woman that makes no excuses or apologies for who she is. Armed with the strength and clarity of voice Leilani delivers a sound that evokes impassioned emotion and paints both vivid and surreal images of life. Leilani is currently in the studio recording her upcoming EP and continuing to perform at local venues where she is building a loyal following.
