Leisure Suit

Leisure Suit

 Victoria, British Columbia, CAN

Leisure Suit are a band from an island. With music interchangeably described as indie rock, shoegaze, and post-rock, they embody the phrase "casual but classy" with enigmatic flare. Think, Deerhunter meet The National on the west coast. Relax.

Short & Sweet:

Leisure Suit are a four piece band from Victoria BC, formed in 2009.

They have played countless regional shows since their inception including Victorias celebrated indie festival Rifflandia and bills with such acts as Trust, Gold & Youth and Humans.

Their new single Distraction, described by Canadas Exclaim! Magazine as a gentle arrangement nestled within a cloud of nocturnal ambience, was mixed by Colin Stewart (Black Mountain, The New Pornographers, Destroyer), mastered by Noah Mintz (Broken Social Scene, Stars).

They have received airplay on CBCs Radio 3, and coverage from a number of Canadian blogs including Scene In The Dark, Silent Shout, and Soft Signal.

Their debut LP is being mixed and co-produced by aforementioned Colin Stewart, and will be their first release since their eponymous debut EP from 2011 (8,000+ plays, 400+ downloads).
