"Is Lelia The Next Big Thing?"

"Pop Lelia's CD, Louisiana Soul, into your player, and no matter how cynical you are about teen girl pop stars, you just shut up. Because Lelia can really, really sing. (a) . . . soaring, smoky, rocking, rollicking, wailing, whispering Voice."

Philadelphia Magaizne Feb 2005 - Philadelphia Magazine

"Seasoned Artist Lelia Broussard"

Lelia Broussard has the confidence of a seasoned artist who's been at this for decades. Her voice starts out playful, moves into rich, widens into soulful, then booms into intense, reasonant passion. All the while, she lasers you with such frequent, flirtatious eye contact that you'd swear you're the only one in the place. - Main Line Today June 2005

"Lelia . . one to watch!"

Lelia Broussard is one to watch for the years to come. She has time on her side, yes she does, and time will be very good to her. Her unforgettable sound is prominent in everything she sings. - The Phoenix January 2005

"Louisiana Soul & Lelia Broussard"

"Louisiana Soul" is a spakling introduction to Broussard's insightful songwriting. It is also a showcase for her rich voice - a voice that wraps itself around the lyrics and infuses them with warmth and depth. The CD's opening track "Love Me Anyway" immediately worms its way into the listener's brain and its haunting chorus remains there long after the song is over. - The Daily Local November 2004

"Lelia has the whole package!"

Lelia's vocals are earthy and alive, her groove driven tunes are wrapped around mature lyrics . . . she has the whole package. I can easily see her going all the way in the music industry.

South Louisiana native Lelia Broussard is releasing her 3rd studio record this fall with Dan Romer producing entitled "Masquerade". This record showcases Broussard's solid songwriting, vocals, and catchy melodies, and is gathering quite a buzz already with the early spread of the first single, "Shoot For The Moon" amongst her loyal fan base. Earlier this year, Lelia raised over $15,000 with her fans through Kickstarter.com to fund the upcoming record and is in the top 5 most successful music projects of all time on the popular site.

Time and again, Lelia's strong fan base has proven to be active and responsive in supporting her whether its raising money, buying her records, and most importantly, showing up with a bunch of friends when she comes through their city on tour.

Lelia was recently voted as one of the top 3 artists by music fans on the Ourstage.com site to play Lilith Fair in the very competitive California market. She has toured extensively all over the US, and plans to spend most of 2010/2011 on the road in support of her new record.

Of Note: In 2008, Lelia signed a publishing deal with Universal Music/Rondor and relocated from New York to Los Angeles to write and eventually record the "Waiting on the 9" EP which was released in 2009. That EP was distributed through Tower Records in Japan as well as the US.

“I was a lot more honest with myself when I wrote this record. These songs are deeply personal and raw. I want it to sound like I mean it” -Lelia Broussard
