Lucas Carvalho has a degree in Film Scoring and Production & Engineering at Berklee College of Music. Has experience in composition, production, audio design, guitar, singing, and in genres such as flamenco, pop, reggae, brazilian, nu jazz, instrumental hip hop and lounge. Was invited to play for the Brazilian Embassy in Chile in 2010 in a duet with Victor Lopez (Portuguese guitar). Has worked with NY local flamenco artists, Arturo Martinez (Espiritu Gitano), Los Cintron Brothers, Barbara Martinez and Sol "La Argentinita". Has recorded live in Radio MEC, Rio de Janeiro, performing world music with the group Visitando Tradições. Is the producer of 5 CDs in reggae, Brazilian, pop, nu jazz and world lounge. Works with film scoring and has had the composers Yakov Gubanov, Vuk Kulenovic, Richard Davis and the producer Mitch Benoff as mentors, as well as the brazilian guitarrist Genil Castro, the pianist Ricardo Nakamura, the luthier Eduardo Brito and the flamenco guitarrist Arturo Martinez (Espiritu Gitano).
