At only 19-years old, it is easy to see why Lenno is such a talented and rising star in the dance music scene. And don’t think that people aren’t taking notice. This talented kid recently just signed with Universal Music, and is getting set to release his brand new Wake Up EP in the coming weeks. This project will be the first of many to be pipelined through the major label.

The three track EP will include the title track and first single from Lenno off of Universal Music ‘Wake Up‘ – which is available now – along with ‘No More‘ and ‘Chase The Sun‘. With the single ‘Wake Up‘ being released last week, the blogosphere has already been erupting with positive feedback from this track. As well, Lenno has already received support from the likes of Maor Levi, Bloody Beetroots and Swanky Tunes.

‘Wake Up‘ is an uplifting, big-room style track, that has soul, life, and a lot of funk flowing throughout the melody. Not only will this be able to smash the dancefloor, but ‘Wake Up‘ can be an anywhere track. What do we mean by that? Blast it in your car, put it on while you walk your dog, or listen to it while you lay by the pool. Lenno has put together a track that is perfect for all situations.

Check out the extended mix of ‘Wake Up‘ by Lenno featuring the talented Electric Sons below and get your copy of the track today. We will share with you the video once the territory restriction has been lifted.

"Lenno remixes Arty's "Up All Night" featuring Angel Taylor [Premiere]"

Earlier this summer, Arty announced a new single and a forthcoming album - not only his debut artist album, but the debut artist album on Insomniac's new record label venture, a partnership with heavy hitter Interscope. "Up All Night" was that lead single, and featuring the vocals of Angel Taylor, it was the usual melodic edginess we see from the Russian artist but with sharp, pop vocals. As the hype builds for the album release, there has still been room left for the single to grow, along with its ensuing remixes. Out today, the EP includes a remix from MANIK, Lenno and Slander, two of which have popped up virally in recent days. The last remaining is that by Finnish artist Lenno, who we've been following for some time, and through his development as a producer in remixing and in coming up with originals (and EPs) has matured into an artist that should lead the pack on a remix quest like this. His work on "Up All Night" is exactly what the track needs to get more club play, with glittering electro bits and an even more pumped up melody through synths. Check it out below.

Still working on that hot first release.

At only 19-years-old, rising Finnish star Lenno has already amassed an incredible back catalogue of music. From working on remixes for artists as prolific and wide ranging as Martin Solveig, Foster The People, The Wombats, Kelly Clarkson and Above & Beyond to creating sublime original nu-disco productions that thoroughly celebrate the vocal elements of house music, Lenno works with an effortless expertise that belies his age.

With previous tour dates in the US, Australia and Europe unsatisfyingly sporadic for fans eager to catch Lenno in action, now that school is officially done and dusted the next phase in the journey of this incredible young producer and DJ can begin.  With a second EP in the pipeline for late Spring, requests flooding in from major music artists keen to add his take on their work to their official remix collections and major label news to come, it seems the advice from Lenno’s talisman video is bearing serious fruit…
