The artist, “Leo Lit” was born Leo Garrett on October 19, 1986 in Atlanta, Georgia, He is the 2nd youngest of 7 siblings. At the age 15, Leo’s life took a turn for the worst. He was at the mercy of the courts which in turn led to his 15 year incarceration. At no time succumbing to despair, consciously making the effort to never falling victim to his unfortunate circumstance; Leo made the decision to overcome. Becoming a man in prison was never his primary choice, yet he played the cards dealt to him. Resolute and tenacious his future is undeniably bright. Vibrant, charismatic and charming a personality so bold yet humble in demeanor, He is in a league of his own.

Cliché in a sense but The Real Leo G is “what the game has been missing” his sound is timeless, unique and thought provoking. His style serves as an introduction to a new genre of music, Neo Hip-Hop, as he calls it. Many have compared him to great hip hop artists of both the past and present. However, in his own right he is the future. Largely known in prison as the best, his smooth tone and compelling voice has reached the masses with the ability to relate to all people regardless of age, gender or race. With 3 hit singles rising to the top on both international and domestic charts , The Real Leo G has most recently dropped his 1st EP, titled “4:12/The Release”.
