After finishing his five songs record, Leonardo started recruiting musicians for his
band. His main goal has been always a striking live show. For that he knew he
needed to put together a band that would be able to transmit high levels of energy
to the audience as well as good music.
5 months of hard work with his new band finally made him feel satisfied and
ready. They did not only prepare the songs as they are in the record, they also
added new elements and arrangements, Leonardo knew from the first session that
his band should be more powerful and passionate than the record itself. The band
members were at this point bringing all their own influence and energy to the
songs. By the end of the summer 2007 He felt they were ready.
On Wednesday September 5th the moment of true came for them. The venue
was completely full, everybody wanted to see Leonardo performing for the first
time. He stepped on the stage and the night became magical. The energy was
incredible, he knew this was one of most important nights of his life, the band hit all
the right spots on the audience, Leonardo succeeded at connecting with them. He
finally fulfilled his dream of transmitting the passion and the emotions his music was
borne from.
Approximately a hundred people attended to his first show, his CD's went sold
out and the fund raising he had planned for this show was a total success. That
night went way beyond his own expectations.
His website has also been successful, after 2 months online he's songs have
been played around 8,000 times, and he has sold copies of his CD as well as single
songs in iTunes. - Latin Rock
