Bio
Leopard Messiah is Cincinnati’s newest Garage Pop band.
Formed in late 2009, they spent their first year hard focused on composing a catalog of 15 original songs.
Prior to their debut show opening for The Greenhornes at The Historic Southgate House Ballroom, they recorded a 3 song demo at Ultrasuede Studio that is now available online for listening and free downloading at: http://listn.to/LeopardMessiah
Influences include: PP Arnold and The Small Faces, The Troggs, Arthur Lee and Love, The Kinks, The Sonics, and The Pleasure Seekers.
Meet the 5 members of band:
Erin Procter, a sweet little musical child, plays a 1960s Rheem Mark VII Organ, Bass, and Sings Back-Up Vocals. She’s a CCM graduate who’s full of raw, mother lovin’ natural talent.
Eric Bingham, a guitar playing melody maker, started playing music as a kid with his country western grandpa, and never stopped.
Jason Hounshell, a pop-beat driven drummer, best-kept secret in town, but he’ll never open his mouth to tell you so.
Ross Dolan, a fine, hard workin’ guitar player. They say he’s lookin’ to duel with the devil one of these days.
Baby Strange, a soulful little lead singer with a mighty big voice who writes all her own lyrics.
Leopard Messiah believes times are changing, for better or worse, they want to be along for the ride.
