Bio
Leroy Sushi is a progressive house DJ, remixer and producer.
Leroy Sushi hails from Northern England and has lived in NYC and for the past decade in Sydney, Australia.
In the late 80’s he discovered the charm of illegal warehouse parties in Blackburn and surrounding areas. The Hacienda became his second home and was influenced by other clubs such as Shaboo and Hackets (Blackpool), The Boardwalk & The Conspiracy (Manchester) to name a few.
In the early nineties he collaborated with Mark Hall (2 For Joy, Flip n Fil, Porn Kings) and worked on remixes for Let The Bass Kick, The Rachel Tune, In A State and Freedom. Together they produced underground dance music and travelled around from Scotland to the south coast of England playing gigs as 2 For Joy.
Sushi delivers a raw but energising sound that is going to be around for a while. His steady sound of progressive, funky and deep house get’s you moving.
