I was told several years ago by Jeff Steel, husband of Janie Fricke, that when I write...write about what I know, what's real, what's important, and if its a strong enough idea, it will be timeless.
These are the types of songs I strive to write and deliver in each performance. I have endless opportunities for material with the ups and downs of life, and the foundation of a strong family. Most of my songs center on relationships, and the one that is most important to me...the one with my family. My wife and I have been blessed with 7 beautiful children in 12 years of marriage. While providing for the family at my daytime job, managing two businesses of my own, and chasing my musical dreams at night, I've been given the grace to be able to juggle it all and walk the fine line of balance in my work and home life. I'm always looking for the opportunity that gets me in front of the right person to make make my music dreams a reality. I think that opportunity is just one more song, one more performance, and one more little moment away. Dreaming out loud...
