"Les Gold - Spilled the Milk"

We think the gang in LES GOLD are on a roll, don’t you know. Their 3rd single from their debut EP is, again, lively and effervescent fun-matic of a single. Yes, love and loss is the central clause of the song, but as usual, the real central character is the environment. ‘Spilled The Milk’ is a fun poke at what ‘idiot’ move some of us implement when in a relationship. Well, we can only experience and learn. Melodies are fab from the Portland, OR group. - comeherefloyd

"Les Gold - You Know (Alone on Mars)"

Weening oneself off of the addiction that occupied our world is hard to do. That addiction is the one we all loved. In secret we chop down the foliage of our overgrown mistakes and interpretations, unrealized. The guys in LES GOLD keeps on their ultra melodic indie-rock flavors, tantalizing and endemic. The subtle pension for pop tastes make the band’s song constructions, the perfect antidote for those harsh days. - comeherefloyd

"Discovery: Les Gold"

Silver Platters is the first single to be released from Les Gold’s debut EP More Silver, and it’s made us extremely excited to hear the rest of the tracks on the EP!

The song has a dark and ethereal vibe to it, and would best be described as being within the indie rock genre. It has a fantastic hook to it and there is a theatrical quality to the song that reminds us somewhat of the music of Panic! At The Disco. The production could have done to be a little better, but that’s to be expected from such a new release. - York Calling

"Discovery: Les Gold"

You Know (Alone On Mars) is a new track from Les Gold, with the song being a modern indie anthem that combines wonderful guitar tones with dreamy vocals.

The clean guitar riff that runs through the song on the verses is heavenly, combining into a beautiful and anthemic chorus that hits all the right notes along the way. It’s catchy in all the right ways and features a beautiful chord progression that you would be a fool to miss. - York Calling

"Les Gold - You Know (Alone on Mars)"

You Know (Alone on Mars) is the first single off of Les Gold’s debut EP “More Silver”. It mixes dreamy and soulful guitar with catchy hooks and complex harmony in the vocals. With a sound rooted in Pacific Northwest indie, the song transforms and shows musical references to New York alternative, as well as elements of soul via the B3 organ. You Know (Alone on Mars) takes shape over the course of the song into a true indie rock/indie pop anthem – building in momentum and complexity throughout, and finishing on a powerful note with harmonized guitar arpeggios, crashing drums, and vocals that provide desperate longing for something/someone mixed with an almost inebriating coming to terms with reality. - Sora Music

"À noitinha... o bom e o bonito dos Les Gold"

Com uns pozinhos de perlimpimpim que nos fazem oscilar entre os New Order e o Father John Misty, os Les Gold são sempre uma boa aposta.
Aconselhados para quem gosta de dançar como se ninguém estivesse a ver.

"LES GOLD Offers Up Scrumptious Pop Delight 'You Know (Alone on Mars)' Off New EP 'More Silver'"

With a lifetime of work that the band mates (and best friends) accumulated and became devoted to, their latest lead single ‘You Know (Alone On Mars)’ has been unfurled for our insatiable ears. And when listening to this delightful start-light of a single from the band, we hit bliss.

‘More Silver’ is the EP and it comes with all of the airy and genuine sounds of the US northwest. The indie-pop rock band constructs for us catchy hooks and associated elements that can’t be denied.

The Portland based band consists of Jenson Tuomi, Travis Ezell, Tim Kaye, and Walter Stern.

What a start. - comeherefloyd

"Listen to Les Gold's "Silver Platters", which is taken off More Silver EP"

A little throwback to when Les Gold released their debut EP, More Silver. To properly re-highlight the six-song project, I will re-call your attention to “Silver Platters”, which was the first single on the EP (entirely posted below). It is a beautiful and magnificent piece that showcases great lyrical ability that’s covered in beautiful vocals and lovely harmonies.

Based out of Portland, Oregon, Les Gold is an indie rock quartet that is co-fronted by Jenson Tuomi and Travis Ezell. The two other members are guitarist Tim Kaye and drummer Walter Stern and the four musicians met while is high school. - Aipate

Bio

Portland indie-rock quartet Les Gold was founded by frontmen Jenson Tuomi and Travis Ezell out of a lifetime of friendship and musical exploration. Together with lead guitarist Tim Kaye and drummer Walter Stern, the band has cultivated a sound that mixed homegrown Northwest indie-rock with elements of pop-punk, folk rock, 1950’s r&b, dream pop, and a plethora of other influences. Showcasing a unique vocal blend between the two lead singers and complex yet catchy hooks throughout the songwriting and instrumentation, Les Gold demonstrates a dynamic body of work and a world of potential for the future.

Les Gold first started as a side project dating back to the four members meeting at Lincoln High School in Portland, OR. Built over years of trial, error, genre-shifting, and growth, the group was able to cement its sound and complete the final piece of the puzzle in working with renowned Portland producer, Bob Stark of Sonic Media Studios. Together they finished their debut EP, More Silver, in the Summer of 2018.

Within a week of publishing, More Silver had already been named an editor’s pick on major independent platforms such as CD Baby. A diverse 6-song collection, each track displays a new angle to the band and stokes the fires for their multiple forthcoming EP’s.
