Les LaMotte received his second Nomination to the Hollywood Music In Media Awards - In the 2009 Awards he is nominated for his song "In His Rest" that won Semi-Finalist in the 2008 UK Songwriting Contest as one of the top 30 songs out of 6,200 worldwide. In 2008 his first nomination was for "The Great Physician" in the Contemporary Christian Category. Bio
An outstanding speaker and writer, Les LaMotte has a charisma all his own. His deep commitment and compassion comes from living with a “Beautiful Mind” father as a youth. His champion mentality comes from being an Eagle Scout. His compassion from his deep simple Christian grounding and life style.
The combination and his Entrepreneurial fortitude and Graphic and product Design have propelled him to worldwide branding of his products and compassion for others around the world.
Les's music was inspired in college in the 70's from meeting and listening to Larry Norman the “grandfather of Christian Rock” and Love Song the “Original Christian Beachboys” sound. Later on he used those tunes and other to inspire inmates for 10 years with Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship leading prisoners in worship music and Bible study throughout Minnesota, Texas and Arizona. He is now the director of SudanHope.org a not-for-profit NGO working in South Sudan. He just returned from his first trip there and is working on many innovative projects to achieve many things for the people of the Eastern Upper Nile - Nuer people and throughout the entire country in its 10 states to improve the lives of war handicapped, widows and orphans of South Sudan.
