Discography

"A Promise to Let Go" - 2004, Less Than Perfect's first release. A powerful and catchy 10 track that drove its listeners straight towards the merch tables at every show. This release had streaming play on several online music spots, until its repleacement with new demo material in early 2005.
"Music, Music - Album Good" EP - 2005, this new 5 track EP release is something that proves to be twice as powerful as the last release with only half the songs. It includes a remake of 2 old original's, and 3 all new tracks that hit you where it hurts!

Bio

What could be more powerful of a start to a band than a near death experience? Thats how Less Than Perfect formed in October of 2002. Founding members, Nick Battistone, and Scott Breiding, left a former project band after a near fatal van accident while leaving a gig. The two, both injured, but lucky to be alive, decided to find a new outlet to express their emotions, and formed Less Than Perfect in early 2003. After a year of being an acoustic act, Less Than Perfect recruited mutual friends Kadden Heart and Mike Dorisio to complete the now powerhouse lineup.
Combining the emotions of 4 members is always an interesting mix, and every listener can feel that as they listen to the powerful guitars, poetic lyrics, driving drums, and catchy bass lines.
Listening to Less Than Perfect is like riding the worlds most involved emotional roller coaster... the band brings you up with catchy up beat songs, than drops you back down with emotional power ballads, then throws you around with in your face material, that everyone can enjoy.
The new, 5 track EP release from Less Than Perfect, entitled, "Music, Music - Album Good" was self released on October 18, 2005. The title, a change from the normal with most bands, came from a comical moment between the band. "It's actually funny when you think about it, but the humor behind it also led to a serious philosophy of how we feel about our music", says vocalist Nick Battistone, "We were all pretty drained after spending about 14 hours in the studio one day, and we were all basically passed out at a restaurant, when jokingly I sugested the album title, everyone there being prety much out of it, just agreed, without even paying attention to what I said. Later when everyone was a little more coherent, I mentione it again, and we had a good laugh about it. Not until a couple days later did we actually really talk about it. We actually really thought that the name was something straight and to the point. Most bands give you some long drmatic name to try and prove that their music is something you'll want to buy... we dont need that. We feel that our music speaks for itself. We feel our music has enough emotion and drama that some typical drawn out title just wouldn't do it justice... so the name stuck."
Come experience a new world... come experience Less Than Perfect!
