Bio

Vocalist, Les Taylor grew up in Central Kentucky. He caught his big break when, in 1980, fellow Kentuckians Exile- fresh off their number one hit " I Want to Kiss You All Over"- tapped him as their new lead singer and rhythm guitarist. Les performed with the group for most of the decade, leaving in 1989 to pursue a solo career. His debut album, That Old Desire, Epic 1990, hit the Billboard top 20 and produced major hits Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda Loved You and Knowin' You Were Leavin'. His second album, Blue Kentucky Wind, Epic 1991, featured a duet with Shelby Lynn, The Very First Lasting Love, as well as the single I Gotta Mind to Go Crazy. Shortly after this album, Les reunited with Exile and has toured nonstop ever since.
Now, with The Les Taylor Band, Les is performing hits from Exile and his solo career, as well as major hits he has written for other artists such as Travis Tritt, Janie Fricke and others across the country.
