LETITA MARTIN
Letita Martin is a young eccentric gospel artist has been on the war path to reaching our youth. Her reality meets truth lyrics and ear catching beats will have you moving and singing along before you know it. With her astounding looks she is like a chameleon; she can adapt to any atmosphere.
At the age 5 Letita began singing in the church choir. From there she blossomed into a soloist and eventually began leading praise and worship.Letita says that growing up in Rapid City, South Dakota opened her mind to many genres of music, which is reflected in her style.
At the age 10, opened up the Thrillers basketball game with the National Anthem with a crowd well over 6,000 and received a standing ovation. Letita also took part in singing at public events such as City Stage, S.K.I.L.L.S, and the NAACP talent shows. She also participated in Fun Fourth Gospel Celebration which is held in the heart of Greensboro, NC every 4th of July.
In 2002 Letita found herself in a new place with the Lord and began writing what she thought was her everyday life and found them later to be her ministry.
With such a fresh sound and creative dance moves Letita commands the stage and captivates her audience. With songs like “Working My Faith” and beautiful baled “I’m So Lost” it’s no wonder why youth gravitate to this mighty warrior for God.
Letita has the heart to help our youth of today and she embraces her testimony that brought her to this point. From an abusive relationship, teen pregnancy, gangs, drugs, and violence Letita transparently shares this with youth and is currently in the process of writing a book on her past struggle.
Letita takes no credit for her gift, she says it comes from God and she is just the vessel he uses to bring Him glory. This ministry minded sensation is ready to take this industry by storm not only for Christ but, as a young virtuous woman that leaves everyone with this statement…”Why live for the creation…when you can live for the creator?”
