"POP-ROCK MEETS HIP-HOP AS LET EM KNOW IS SET TO BE RELEASED"

(New York, NY – June 23, 2009) – Let ‘em Know – the freshman track from Let it Go’s EP is available starting Sept. 23, 2009. A group of five musicians and two veteran Hip Hop Producers are hitting the ground running with their fresh Hip- Rock sound. Now, after years of collaborating, their career is reaching new peaks with upcoming shows in August throughout the Tri-State Area.
Steve Riley (lead Singer), Joe Tremz (Lead Guitar), Sean Clayton (Rhythm Guitar), Jonnny Rude (Bass), Julian Alleyne (Drummer), Mike Smooth and Horse MC (Vocalists) recorded Let ‘em Know with producer Jonathan Mover of Skyline Studios.

“The band is showing a lot of enthusiasm and dedication to hard work. It is the only way for us to get things done,” said vocalist Mike Smooth.

It was Producers’ Mike Smooth and Horse MC’s, (creators of indie label Martian Music LLC) own defining and assured musical viewpoint as both MC’s and producers that attracted the talented musicians who make up LET IT GO to become more diverse in their repertoire. The group serves up all-embracing blend of hip-hop, pop and rock – an audacious fusion that's sure to get your body rocking. With a MySpace following of thousands, it’s no wonder that LET IT GO has emerged as a catalyst and a curator of an exciting new musical hybrid.

The set-up single for LET IT GO is in launch mode all over the Internet, ensuring that the album will be front-of-mind at its release.

Bio

Let it Go, a group of five ambitious young guys from West Orange, New Jersey are a fresh face in the hip hop/rock genre. Over the past two years, this emerging five-piece band has evolved their sound from pop-rock and hit the road with live shows around New York and New Jersey making stops at The Knitting Factory and The Crossroads. The band’s vibe was strong but something was missing. Vocalists Mike Smooth and Horse MC, creators of indie label Martian Music LLC, joined Let It Go, six years deep. The two MC’s, veterans in hip hop production with an album already under their belt and sales on eight online stores (including iTunes, Amazon and Rhapsody) took collaborating to a new level by joining their sound with the live instruments and making the band’s music only stronger.
