I have really been enjoying Nemysis‘ remix a week project. This week’s remix is of Kanye West and Jay-Z‘s “Gotta Have It.” I do not think an actual acapella is available for this song so he mixes sporadic samples from the track into a heavy dance mix. Check it out. - Surviving the Golden Age
There is a lot going on on Nemysis‘ remix of Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Otherside.” The track starts with what sounds like an 8-bit remix of the track before picking up into a full out dance track. Check it out. - Surviving the Golden Age
Adele‘s “Someone Like You” made my top 50 tracks of 2011. The track gets a make over from New York’s DJ Nemysis. Its not huge make over but the addition of some sick kick and snare drums as well as a synth, house breakdown add a little something to the original. Check it out.

As many of you may know we have been big fans of Zak Downtown for quite some time. With singles like ‘Kylie Kendall’ that have amassed over 2 MILLION plays on SoundCloud, Zak has had quite the year. Zak also just wrapper up tour with The Chainsmokers and signed with ICM partners. Lately he has been working on a brand new project titled “Winning Means Everything”.
Well today he is here to premiere his debut EP. This is the first project with all original content after linking up with his producer NEM who produced ‘Kylie Kendall’. He's also made appearances at Wall (Miami), Studio Paris (Chicago), Noto (Philadelphia), Avalon Mohegan (CT), and Providence (Atlantic City). He has worked with brands & companies such as the NBA, TNT, NBC, WILHELMINA, FORD MODELS, SEVEN JEANS, ADIDAS & NIKE. NEM has also DJ'd for celebrities such as Rihanna, Leonardo Dicaprio, Michael Jordan, Prince, Carmelo Anthony, Diddy, French Montana, Ellen Pompeo, Nick Cannon & Post Malone.
2017 promises to be a huge year for NEM with upcoming releases on Black 17 / Sony Red with Zak Downtown & a few debut projects under his newly formed label, La Cocina Music.
NEM's remixed ILOVEMAKONNEN's viral hit "Tuesday" which became Audiomack's number 1 EDM remix of 2015. NEM produced releases have amassed over 10 Million Soundcloud & Spotify plays with three of his releases coming on major labels. NEM is a classically trained musician who is an avid sports fan and a "self-proclaimed" fashion icon.
