Letras (LTRS) is 7 years in the making, starting from humble beginnings as teens out of the east side of Los Angeles, Letras grew into molded disciplined musicians with a fine understanding of how to create music as independent artists.
Letras developed from past bands, Billy, Joel, Roger & Marcos developed a format that gave them freedom to add a certain sound to there music and not have to compromise what or how they play there instruments. Inspired and influenced by all genres, as musicians and song writers Letras takes cues from mid to late 1970 Punk and New Wave bands like, Kraft Werk, Devo, Joy Division, New Order, The Clash and much more. At an older age Letras finds more inspiration from life experience and exploring sounds as musicians.
Letras has a sound that is unique and vibrant, fronted by the characterized vocals of Roger Rosales, lead by the eclectic electronic sound of programing and synths, and carried by the bass lines and Guitar licks by Joel Perales and Billy Ramirez, and held up by the raging drum beats of Marco Sandoval.
