Biography

LetricKramer
is Guitarist Paul Kramer and Singer Aaron Letrick with bass guitarist Richard (Guido) Milligan, Thom Monks (drums) and special guests, drummer Jeff Campitelli (Joe Satriani Band) and Jimmie Bones (Kid Rock's T.B.T.Band) on Keyboards. Paul and Aaron are founding members of the late 80’s Detroit based band Pleezer. Pleezer enjoyed some success in the 80’s recording their first album with Al Hirschman at the legendary “Swamp” (Grand Funk Railroad) recording studio and drew the attention of world-renowned producer Vinnie Poncia (Kiss, DC Drive, Leo Sayer etc.). While recording their second album Nirvana released Nevermind and that’s what the world did to 80’s rock. Over the years Paul and Aaron worked together on various projects including being commissioned to record “From The Beginning” for an ELP tribute cd entitled “Fanfare for the Pirates”. Aaron made a cameo appearance on Paul’s "Red Planet" cd in 2000 and together in 2005 worked on the re-release of the original Pleezer cd. Pleezer was signed to Retrospect Records and added 5 additional unreleased songs. The current collaboration came about when Aaron reached out to Paul for the tracks to Passion for his solo cd. Paul shared some of the music he was working on and Aaron added his flavor and Letrickramer was instantly back, stronger than ever. The upcoming release has a Detroit rock feel that is organic to both Paul and Aaron. The cd is being recorded and mixed by Grammy award winners in Detroit and NY. Full release is July 27th 2012 with singles out now.

Detroit City

Written By: Aaron Letrick

DETROIT CITY
They say this town has lost its vision
They say this town has lost its pride
They say this town has lost its luster
They say this city’s finally died
But I don’t listen to some “They”
“They” need to hear me say…

(Chorus)
Im Born and Raised in Detroit City
Im proud to say thats where Im made
Im Born and Raised in Detroit City
Im proud to say thats where Ill stay

Take a ride down Lakeshore Drive
Roll on to where we play with pride
We built this city on our backs
Ansd praise the ones who keep it all on track now
Detroit City…

Chorus

All the tastes the city brings
A toast to all its offerings
All the culture that we share
Diversity is everywhwere

Motown forged a music scene
And changed the way the country sings
The Motor City moved the nation
Its time to fix our reputation, lets change it

Im Born and Raised in Detroit City
Im proud to say thats where Im made
Detroit City It’s the Motor City Motown baby
Im Born and Raised in Detroit City
Im Born and Raised in Detroit City
Im born Im born yeah yeah In Detroit City
Im proud to say thats where Im made
Im Born and Raised in Detroit City
Im proud to say thats where Im made
(You know Ive been to each coast and back
Detroits where my heart is at.
The D and Motown Motor city… Shes home to me shes what I need)

All I Need

Written By: Aaron Letrick

ALL I NEED

I used to sit and listen for hours
Just to tape my favorite radio song
I used to play it back pretending I was the star
(I used to dream)
And dream as I was singing along

I used to think I needed great fortune
(Money money baby)
I used to think I had to have fame
(I used to be the one who chased it)
I used to sit in front of the mirror
(I almost made it)
Obsessing over lines in my face

All I need is a bottle of wine
A shot of bourbon with my friends and I’m fine
All I need is to have a good time
No sum of money can replace the ones I love in my life

I used to sit and worry about nothing
(Drove me crazy baby)
Sweating stuff no matter how small
(I was outta my mind)
I used to wonder how I looked in every ones eyes
(I can’t deny)
And now it doesn’t matter at all

All I need is a bottle of wine
A shot of bourbon with my friends and I’m fine
All I need is to have a good time
No sum of money can replace the ones I love in my life

All I need is a bottle of wine
A shot of bourbon with my friends and I’m fine
All I need is to have a good time
No sum of money can replace the ones I love in my life

All I need is a bottle of wine
A shot of bourbon with my friends and I’m fine
All I need is to have a good time
There ain't nothing can replace the ones I love in my life

All I need is a bottle of wine
A shot of bourbon leave the bottle this time

Everything (International Love)

Written By: Aaron Letrick

EVERYTHING (INTERNATIONAL LOVE)

We flew into the Montenegrin coast of old Tivat
We danced I held you close
In the Renaissance Summer House Buca

We sailed to Malta
Swam the Blue Lagoon by starlight

Walked the ruins of Athens
In a small taverna we dined

Everything I’ve ever wanted
Everything I’ve ever dreamed of
Is everything cause of you
Share all of the world just with you
Only you

Everything I’ve ever wanted
Everything I’ve ever dreamed of
Everything I ever thought I would need
Is everything I found in you
Share all of the world now with you

In the canals of Venice
Sang Puccini gondolier style

Through Bordeaux and Loire Valley
Sipped on wine, got lost in your smile

Like the stars in the movies
On the beach in the St. Tropez sun

Off to Monte Carlo
Kissed your lips as the roulette wheel spun

The Barcelona sights
Those Casablanca nights
And you by my side

Is everything I could ever want
Everything I could ever need
Everything I have ever dream of
Is everything you have given me
Everything you have given me
Everything you have given me

Owe You Somehow

Written By: Aaron Letrick

OWE YOU SOMEHOW

I can’t remember if I told you I loved you that day babe
Does it enter your mind

I found a picture of us looking so young
In a strange way
I felt as if you were mine
And I can’t deny on those summer nights
What you meant to me
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)

I’m the man I am
Cause you took my hand then you set me free
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
Taught me who to be
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
Loved lost learned life changed for me
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
And I keep thinking that I owe you somehow

I still remember how I felt when you touched me the first time
You drove me out of my mind
The nervous boy and the woman who changed me into a man
And I can still see your smile
And I cant decide if its felt as right
Since I laid with you
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)

I’m the man I am
Cause you took my hand then you set me free
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
Taught me who to be
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
Loved lost learned life changed for me
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
And I keep on thinking that I owe you somehow

She was my first lesson
If I only knew back then what I know now

I see how awkward boys can be as they talk to a new girl
I’m sure I acted the same
Shaky hands, anxious eyes
And they all seem to say things
That come out sounding insane

And they’re all denied
So they run and hide
Till it all repeats

The boy turns to man
When she takes his hand and she sets him free
He learns who to be

I’m the man I am
Cause you took my hand then you set me free
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
I’m the man I am
Cause you took my hand then you set me free
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
Taught me who to be
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
Loved lost learned life changed for me
(Keep thinkin’ that I owe you somehow)
And I keep on thinking that I owe you somehow
I can’t fight the idea that I owe you somehow
I keep on wondering if I owe you somehow
And I can’t help feeling like I owe you somehow
I’m so damn grateful and I owe you somehow

Old Glory

Written By: Aaron Letrick

OLD GLORY

Good morning Old Glory
How you wave in my life
I’m proud to salute you
Hand on heart to show my pride

In the morning when I wake up
And my freedom smiles
I am stronger in your shadow as you fly

And the dream that you symbolize
That so many never will realize
Makes us what and who we are

God bless the ones who serve you
Redeem their sacrifice
Old Glory I pledge allegiance
To the country o’er which you fly

It’s a blessing to be born within your borders
Opportunities are boundless if you try
All for life love and liberty
The eagle flies
Strength and honor
Out of many comes the one

Fortune thrives around you
Wind filled colors lead the way
I am home when I feel you
You’re my country the USA

Good morning Old Glory
Your fields of blue and stars that shine
I swear to uphold you
Coast to coast true beauty lies

Good morning Old Glory
I thank you for a life that’s mine
I stand true when I see you
By the dawns early light
