Letters & Colours – Confrontation/Bigger Than Life

With echoes of Joy Division style nihilism, a dark, raw vocal not drawing itself out much further than an intense monotone, layered over a well-drilled guitar scape. Unsettling post-rock leaning noir-pop, like Interpol and Land Of Nod baiting each other into union. - Vanity Project

Feeling a bit camera shy

The band is a 4 piece based in Sheffield, England. They were formed in 2004 as a two piece, but have gone from strength to strength since recruiting live bass and drums. The band is heavily influenced by the Sheffield post-punk scene, which spawned bands such as Artery, Pulp and Vice Versa; as well as The Cure and Joy Division.

They completed their first nationwide tour in February 06, and will embarking on a full scale tour in October. Letters and Colours is currently number one of the NakedAlien.com music charts and have received national airplay on BBC radio. They were
also chosen as a featured artist on TagWorld.com 'Confrontation' and 'Bigger than Life' is their debut double a-side CD single.
