Bio
The band is a 4 piece based in Sheffield, England. They were formed in 2004 as a two piece, but have gone from strength to strength since recruiting live bass and drums. The band is heavily influenced by the Sheffield post-punk scene, which spawned bands such as Artery, Pulp and Vice Versa; as well as The Cure and Joy Division.
Letters & Colours construct songs that are sometimes calculated and often vibrant. Musically they are immediate and militant in equal measures.
They completed their first nationwide tour in February 06, and will embarking on a full scale tour in October. Letters and Colours is currently number one of the NakedAlien.com music charts and have received national airplay on BBC radio. They were
also chosen as a featured artist on TagWorld.com 'Confrontation' and 'Bigger than Life' is their debut double a-side CD single.
