let the dead

 Austin, Texas, USA

Hardworking, committed, ready and willing to give anything to show the public that we do have what it takes. We will stop at nothing to get to the top given the chance.

Established back in 2009, Let the Dead was originally a 6 piece hardcore band from San Marcos, Texas. When releasing their first E.P. in late 09 the band has played show after show to gain a reputation in the Austin scene and the surrounding areas. After extensive years of various tours, local shows, and festivals, the original members (excluding front man Andrew Forsberg) decided that it was time to go their separate ways. Wanting to continue with Let the Dead, Forsberg teamed up with Isaac Tirone to play drums. After searching for a additional members, Forsberg and Tirone joined up with Brad Black and Jameson Teat ex-members of Somewhere in September, a fellow hardcore band from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Let the Dead and Somewhere in September had grown very close over the years from playing many shows together. After complications emerged in both bands, the remaining members decided to merge together under the name Let The Dead. Although they have only been together less than a year, they have an extensive amount of shows under their belt and taking their reputation in the hardcore scene to a whole new level. With their technical breakdowns and catchy hooks, the bands high-energy live performance leaves the crowd wanting more. Let the Dead plans to record their new E.P. in late December with producer Kellen McGregor of Memphis May Fire and will be released early 2012.
