LEURE is the new solo beats project from Ash Hendriks (of Wolves At The Door fame). Her first foray into the electronic world, and a most ‘mishapsical’ experimentation if you will, Leure is most sensual and spacious, almost minimal, electronic soundscapes, littered with unusual and shifting beats and drenched in floating vocals layered heavily atop of each other.

It's at times a little dark, highly sensual and completely intoxicating.

While this project is only new project, Leure has been met with incredible applaud from media and audiences alike – from sitting atop the electronic charts on Aust radio Triple J Unearthed at #1 to bountiful play across Australian radio stations Triple J, RTR, FBi, 4ZzZ and PBS. Glossy magazine features such as Frankie Magazine to Channel V tweeting all to listen streaming the debut album in full.

She has been likened to Tricky, Grimes, Bat For Lashes, Lykke Li, Fever Ray, The XX, Zola Jesus and Marina Topley Bird to name but a few, some very nice company to keep...

With a busy show schedule in Australia including recents supports for Maria Minerva (Estonia/ London), Chet Faker (Aust) Owl Eyes (Aust) , Lil Jabba (US) and Cashmere Cat (Nor) and countelss national shows, Leure has honed a tight and enchanting set that has quite literally set the blogosphere alight (seriously, you should check it out).

You'll hear the luscious & in demand vocals of Leure on a heap of collabs over the coming months - collab with Flight Tonight Lines in the video section below. Dom Simper of Tame Impala fame is a fan and remixed her debut single Tired turning into a slow burning dancefloor groove (see audio below).

With a slot on Waves Festival in Vienna this Oct, Leure is now headed into Europe with a full tour schedule underway.
