The band formed in the summer of 2004 in southwest Missouri with Zach, Ty and Jon. After going through a few different bass players, Ryan was enlisted to join Levee (mach-4).
The vintage hard rock music they make draws influence from the music they grew up listening to and loving. Even though the music predates them all, they feel a connection to it and a need to carry on the torch of ROCK! Bands such as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Cream, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Johnny Winter, Ted Nugent, KISS, Humble Pie, The Faces, Rolling Stones, Yardbirds and countless others have all spent time in the cd players of these guys. Although these bands bear influence on the members of this band, Levee's original rock 'n'roll is no simple rehashing of the classic rock genre. Their high-octane vocals, killer riffs, scorching guitar leads and thundering drums all combine to create a sonic experience to be reckoned with.
