Level 2 is industries first female and male hip hop duo, and is sure to move you with their hard hitting beats and crunk lyrics. The duo consist of M O and G-Boogie; formed together to bring the industry new and innovative entertainment.
G-Boogie was born in Mobile, Alabama. Although his roots are from the south, G-Boogie was raised in the Brooklyn, New York. Angela, G-Boogies mother realized that her son had something special about him at an early age. G-Boogie began modeling and appeared in a Ralph Lauren fashion show at the tender age three. Growing up in Brooklyn, G-Boogie was intrigued with the life of hip hop. G-Boogie was inspired by groups like A Tribe Call Quest, Biggie Smalls, Jay- Z, Junior Mafia, Busta Rhymes, and LL Cool J. G-Boogie later moved to Atlanta, Georgia. G-Boogie and M O met while attending Frederick Douglass High.
M O is a sweet Georgia peach, born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. M O grew up in the S.W.A.T.S. (South West Atlanta is Too Strong). M O had a passion for writing poetry at a young age that later evolved in to writing hip hop lyrics. M O joined the D-Day Entertainment street team. While working with D-Day Entertainment, M O learned the ups and downs of the music industry. In addition, M O developed a unique style that would separate her from all other female emcees.
M O and G-Boogie came together with similar interest to birth Level 2. Level 2 stands for two talented emcees brought together in the second phase of hip hop, where crunk music has made it to the next level. Outkast, Goodie Mob, Ludacris, Lil Jon, and the Ying-Yang Twins are artists that have paved the way for the south with their platinum hits. Level 2 is guaranteed to move you out your seat
