Bio
In the years right prior the 21st century, Level Engine was laying ideas towards a musical voice that could express relaxed rythms and muscle driven discontent. Returning from multiple journeys into the Caribbean, frontman Nathan Mohammed (pH-Nath) was pulsing to the ongoing island-dub-beat movement and began infusing these sounds with his Pacific North American upbringings. Genre-jumping is no new goal but lyrically pH-Nath and L.E. began hitting on the social consciousness of both scenes, trying to exist in the expanding arena of alectro-acoustician. At Present, there are two distinct sides to L.E. Both revolve around the curiously impressive vocals of pH-Nath, one delivering agressive syncopated word manouvers and the other harmonically soul lifting songs. The band itself incorporates varied artists but rarely exceeds status of a trio.
