Level Rizon is a band that blends a variety of musical styles, to form a distinguished sound that is totally
unique. The members hail from the metro Detroit, and Pontiac areas of Michigan, each bringing their experience, and
own musical flavor that make up the Level Rizon sound. Collectively there is over 80 years experience between band
members, both on amateur and professional levels. The concept of the band is to provide classy entertainment for a
variety of settings such as private parties, concerts, and nightclubs. Their musical repertoire is wide and varied, ranging
from blues, and R/B, to jazz standards, fusion and funk. What makes this band so special is that the members have a genuine love for performing, which can be heard, and felt through their performance. Level Rizon has formerly performed under the name of Ground Level, and has been the opening act with many major recording artists such as: Roy Ayers, Ronny Laws, the Isley Brothers, LL Cool J, Lakeside, Slave, and Gerald Albright. In October of 2004 Ground Level’s name was changed to Level Rizon when they released their debut cd entitled “That Vibe”. The cd received airplay in metro Detroit for 3 years, and their cds were sold in the US, as well as overseas.
