In case, you don’t know Ira Levi- let me introduce you.For more than a decade, Ira Levi has established himself as one of the most popular male dance artists and one of the first ‘out’ afr-american males to chart on Billboard and be signed to a major label (RCA/WARNER BROS). His biggest hit,’Free your Mind’ launched the legendary Strictly Rhythm Blue label and was featured in the Miramax film, ‘Lie Down With Dogs’ and he has remained a Pride circuit favorite and international dance music icon. His other Strictly Rhythm classics include ‘We Came To Work It Out’ and ‘Let The Children Dance!”- the theme song to the movement that established ‘Scharod’s Law’( a San Francisco effort to protect youths in at-risk environments). Ira’s 2012 release hopes to bring him greater exposure to the urban market and expand his fan base beyond the Dance/Pop genre. His latest single, ‘Soon,produced by the super-hot South African Production team Clown Dallas and The Disciples is currently one of the most eagerly awaited releases on the emerging S.A. house scene. We expect a US release late 2011 to prepare for Ira’s 2012 urban/hiphop project.

From the NYC underground club scene, L.E.V.I. (aka IRA LEVI) established himself as a major force in Dance/Pop music with a series of hits on the legendary House label, STRICTLY RHYTHM RECORDS (,"Free Your Mind", "We Came To Work It Out" and 'Let The Children Dance!"). He's worked with the genre's most celebrated Producer/Dj's like Jellybean, DJ Pierre,Eric Morillo Roger S.&Klubjumpers. His Billboard-charting debut single, 'FREE YOUR MIND' was featured in the Miramax feature film "Lie Down With Dogs".and voted one of the best dance songs of the year by the N.Y.Times.
The talented performer has proven to be a formidable live act. Whether headlining or opening for top Dance artists like Cece Peniston,Rupaul,The Village People and Martha Wash, (L.E.V.I.) never disappoints. A magnetic stage presence, his live show bridges the gap between classic House music,Hip Hop and Pop .
As a songwriter, he has woven real life themes into great dance songs.His debut smash, 'Free Your Mind' on Strictly Rhythm records was a call for compassion to the homeless and 2006' 'Let The Children Dance!' was a call to protect children from gun violence that has gained relevance since the Newtown tragedy.
2013 marks a new beginning for (L.E.V.I.) with 'That's The #1'- his club-banging new single gaining traction at urban radio
