Levi Peckham is an accomplished performer, composer, audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist. He is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and it is there that he honed his skills in both music composition and audio engineering with an emphasis on film music/scoring. His musical influences are extremely diverse and range from the vintage sound of 1970's funk, soul and jazz fusion to modern-day progressive hard rock/heavy metal and what many would consider to be world and/or instrumental music. In addition to playing numerous other instruments, Levi's principal instruments are drums, piano and voice, with an emphasis on the vintage electric Rhodes piano.
Levi is currently backed by long-time collaborater Sara Tomassetti on drums and percussion. He is a committed Libertarian, vegetarian, ethicist/activist and is a strong opponent of unmusical pitch corrective technologies and limiting compression. Forthcoming recordings inlude the debut albums by the Levi Peckham Band and the extremely loud shenanigans of an alter-ego known as VomitGod.
