GREAT TUNES WOULD DO AN OASIS ALBUM PROUD
A Flower in The Dark - EP Review
This up and coming singer-songwriter from Dumfries has crafted three great new tunes that wouldn't be out of place on an Oasis B side, sung by Noel Gallagher.
Opening track Nothing to Be is a powerful tune belying the fact it's just Lewis and his guitar.
A Flower in the Dark has the upbeat, flowing style of Nick Drake with shades of Bob Dylan as he sings: 'I think of all the folks I've known'.
Meanwhile, Highway Code suggests we don't stand still in our lives with the lyric: 'Times your friend and foe'.
Time to check this guy out. - The Daily Record Newspaper
Dumfries based singer-songwriter Lewis Fergusson plays acoustic music with nods to folk, blues and country, and his smoky, steady delivery, as evidenced on 'Nothing to Be', has already won him many new friends. - R2 Magazine - Rock and Reel
