Bio

Lexie T, the little girl with the big voice, burst onto the country music scene in 2005, opening for fellow musician and Saskatchewan success story, Brad Johner. She has thrilled and entertained listeners from across Saskatchewan and into the United States for the past 10 years.

Lexie has had a great deal of success for someone so young. She is a proud member of both the Saskatchewan Country Music Association and the Canadian Country Music Association.

In 2011, Lexie placed first in three competitions and third in another. She was named top 16 from across Canada in the YTV series The Next Star and travelled to Toronto, Ontario for the taping of the show. In 2012, Lexie placed top 5 from across Canada in an online competition with EMI Music Canada. Competing against different genres, she was the only country artist to perform live in Toronto during Canadian Music Week for the record label. Lexie has guaranteed herself a spot on the record labels compilation album. She was a finalist in The Big Gig talent search with the Juno committee and SaskMusic. She performed during the week of the Junos on April 17, 2013 in Regina. Her most recent accomplishment was winning the GX94 Star Search in July of 2013. Lexie has had a great time with them performing at various locations and is very excited to release her 2 songs with them.

Lexie was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year for 2 years in a row and her song What A Shame has been nominated for Song of the Year at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards which were held April 27, 2013. She also performed at the New Artist Showcase Cabaret following the awards show.

Lexie is now bringing her talents to the United States. She has visited Nashville numerous times, having performed during Country Music week and also has performed at legendary spots such as the Bluebird Caf, Commodore Grille and the Nashville Palace. Also, Lexie has taken her talents to radio stations nationwide. She released her debut single That One in August 2011 and What a Shame was released in April of 2012.

Already a seasoned professional, and a frequent guest at the most prestigious and exclusive venues in Saskatchewan, Lexie is poised to write her own success story. Poignant, articulate and talented beyond compare, the little girl with the big voice is going places, big places, in the country music industry.
