Liaison Luv

David Townsend, native and current resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a songwriter and recording artist. Growing up in a musically talented family, it was no surprise when he began singing at the age of nine years old. From singing in the church choir to competing in local talent shows, attending a performing arts high school, and recording his first songs in his early teenage years, David’s path is clear and definitive.

Shortly after discovering his own style and sound, David took on the stage name- Liaison Luv. Liaison Luv’s smooth tenor voice and sensuality attracts a large audience of young men and women. Musical influences such as Babyface, Michael Jackson, and Tevin Campbell, have certainly impacted his musical style. 

His versatile and sensational vocal abilities have begun to captivate the attention of his local community and local radio stations. Liaison Luv released his first single “Desire” this year. March 2016 he released his first mixtape “Passenger”. The mixtape incorporates R&B, Soul, and a mainstream dynamic to bring fans a cultivating and diverse set of stylistic elements all depicting the enormous talent of Liaison Luv. 

Liaison Luv’s songs illustrate how life extends beyond its own subjective limits. Not confining himself to the limits of a lyricist, but branching out into true songwriting allows him to sell personal stories and experiences plaguing and often dominating young adults. Liaison Luv is ready to make his mark in the music industry by offering all of these components, alongside his natural creativity and passion for music.
