"Get stranded in France due to hurricane. Make music. Postpone replacement flight. Start three-piece band. Name band after two words that have never appeared in combination before. Realize you now live in France. Record album. Tour world. Embrace chance."

October 2012, the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the season tore up the east coast of America. Brooklyn based noise-pop artist Eleanor C. Logan (HAPPY NEW YEAR) was at the end of a European tour and became temporarily stranded in Lyon. Passing the time making music with her new French friends, she spontaneously canceled her flight home to start a new three piece band called LIA MICE - a name that means nothing in French and English but sounds the same in both languages.

Now based in France, Logan will return to Brooklyn for the first time in October to record the debut LIA MICE album and play at CMJ Music Marathon.
