This is probably the best debut album by an Australian Female country artist since Kasey Chambers “The Captain” a decade ago. Lianna Rose is cute and confident, but not cheesy. And, best of all, her songs are good, reminding me of Shawn Colvin. A highlight is “ I Want my Tractor back”, destined to become a country classic. It’s the tale of Mary and Bill, they break up, and Mary takes the tractor. It’s great stuff. ‘Soak up the World’ is country enough for traditional fans, but ‘cool’ enough to gather some contemporary city fans. A Wonderful Debut. Jeff Jenkins, JB Hi-Fi Magazine 2009.
