Libby Ames

Libby Ames

With edgy lyrics combined with memorable melodies, Libby's songs are sure to get stuck in your head! Libby Ames presents fresh aspects of love and heartbreak you don't want to miss.

Libby Ames is not only a performer but she writes her own songs and is not afraid of combining honest and mature lyrics with gutsy and fun melodies.

In terms of artist comparison, it's Avril meets Ingrid Michaelson.
As far as performance, Libby's high energy band brings a crowd with them and entices the one already there.

Libby is a well-known performer in the Nashville circuit, but has also performed at Nationwide events such as Worlds Toughest Rodeos, FMX and Monster truck rallies, NHL, NSL and NBA games. She has opened for artists such Randy Travis and Chris Webb, and has performed at numerous county fairs and festivals from St. Louis to Boston.
Just before moving to Nashville, Libby Ames won Pepsi's "Give Me the Mic" challenge in Columbus, OH which aired on WSYX ABC, and used her prize money to move to Nashville and pursue her dream. Since then she has released her official EP-Libby Ames, and has had appearances on Nashville's WSMV Channel 4, CMT and GAC.

"Many think 'making it' in this industry is measured by the money you make or the amount of publicity" says Ames, "but doing this...watching my songs come to me it feels like I've already 'made it.'"
