Bio

When one experiences L.I.E., one experiences a musical onslaught of talent and originality in the vein of Fair To Midland, System Of A Down, Primus, and A Perfect Circle. The band came together as a five-piece when all the members were 15 years old, and after two shows it was clear that they would function and perform much better as a four-piece. They parted ways with the 5th member on good terms, and the lineup has stayed the same since then. The band has been progressing and improving rapidly, with the promise of more to come. Austin's virtuoso guitar playing and incredible unique vocals are unlike anything else. His voice is very strong and dynamic. Melodic at times, angry at others, but full and pure all the while. Tanner's lead vocals are just as strong and pure, and his lead keyboard playing on "Goblins" sets this band apart from the masses. His keyboard accenting on "Flammable Velvet" lulls the listener into an almost psychedelic state, and his compliments on most of the other songs fill them in in just the right spots. Philip's guitar work and backing vocals only further enhance the songs, with Clint's amazing drum work providing the driving force behind the music. Tanner's bass playing locks in with Clint to create an unstoppable solid rhythm section, rounding out this full and complete alternative metal band. One minute the fans are moshing to the fast and heavy composition of one song, and swaying with the keyboards and melodic vocals the next. The listener is kept on their toes the enitre time, there's always another surprise around the corner....
