Bio

Lieutenant Jam consists of Anthony Ross
on lead vocals, Joel Melbourne on lead guitar, SaintJohn Simpson on Bass
and Fernando Castaneda on drums.

The band has played over 60
shows since 2012. They have performed at Glastonbury 2013, St.Kilda
Festival 2014, Sydney Rd St Festival 2014, Darebin Music Feast 2012 and
created 4 music festivals entitled 'House Party on Wheels' over 2 years
with 25-40 bands playing at each.

'Jealousy is Dumb but I Want
You in My Bed' will be the first single of three released by Lieutenant
Jam in 2014, recorded by their close friend and sound engineer Nigel
from Fedora Productions. The song's film clip will be made in London by
Tom McMahon who has worked on videos with Ghetts, Young O &
Scorcher, Robin Thicke and Pharrell to name a few and close friend Ben
Van Leeuwman. After the release of their first album 'When I Say Jump'
in 2012, the band has focused on time in the studio, song writing
,touring and on their live set.

The singles will celebrate the
band's 2 year anniversary. The 3 upcoming tracks feature special guests
from the bands Vision St, Avantair, Slowjaxx and His Cosmik Love
Orkestra and Damn That River with a horn section, harmonicas and backing
vocals.

The band's has progressed from it's indie rock origins
to a louder rock sound replicating a mix of The Arctic Monkeys, Brian
Jonestown Massacre, The Libertines and the Rolling Stones. The band has
grown in support over the last two years and is ready to push on in
2014.

The singles and promotional campaign will be launched with a national and short UK tour middle/late 2014


Lieutenant Jam have played at establishments such as The Espy, Ding
Dong Lounge, The Vineyard, Revolver, The Workers Club, 303, Pony, The
Toff, The Tote, The Brunswick Hotel, The Reverence. They have also
toured Hobart, Adelaide and the UK.

They have featured on
indie100.com, Triple R 3RRR FM, Inpress, Beat Magazine and high figures
on tripleJ Unearthed and Reverb Nation.

From 2014 the band plan to feature on Pitchfork, 6 Music, Triple J and tour world renowned music festivals year after year.
