Life In The Front Seat’s lyrics are laced in life, relationships, history, and science. A group of young men that began writing and performing at ages three, eleven and thirteen. From boys to men they began recognizing intelligence and self-control over their own lives while taking a front seat to life. Creating music and a movement while using ancient cultural symbols and lessons to motivate minds.

Kadmon, the chosen one

Kadmon Love Age: 17 - Kadmon Love has received extensive training in modern theater performing arts from The Atlanta Art Institute. Kadmon is an award winning student of tap, modern and hip hop dance at the Hermitage Dance Academy in Nashville TN. Kadmon began his rapping, dancing, and songwriting career at age three. He remains the top talent show performer for his age in Music City. Kadmon studies audio production and studio recording and is an active member of his high school’s in-house Warner Record label. Known for his advance skill with the snare drums and dance he leads as drum major Pearl Cohn Magnet Entertainment High School’s marching band. Kadmon’s goal is to inspire others to do what they truly love. His love is entertainment. The young prodigy is an amazing performer and lyricist. Kadmon’s musical influences include: the late Michael Jackson, James Brown, Motown, Nas, Tupac, The Notorious BIG, Pimp C, UGK, Snoop Dog, Eminem and T.D.E.

Obi Wang, the urban philosopher

Obadyah Brown Age: 18 - Obi Wang considers himself a multi-artist that dwells on an elevated conscious mind. He works with all demographics for humanitarian upliftment. Very fashionable and trend setting he works in fashion and plans to launch a clothing line in the near future. Obi is trained in bass drum percussion and self-taught in bass guitar. He is a graduating senior of Nashville School of The Arts where he received training as a classical vocalist. Obadyah’s musical influences include: Thelonious Monk, Johan Sebastian Bach, Pharcyde, Native Tongues,J Dilla, Most Def, Ghetto Boys, Goodie Mob, The Parliament Funkadelic and True Form Unknown.

Sayyid Amir, the scientist

Sayyid Love Age: 20 - Sayyid began his musical career in junior high school in symphonic band. Sayyid is trained in the trombone and was a member of his high school marching band at Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet at Pearl High School in Nashville TN. During high school he began performing poetry at open mic venues with Youth Speaks Organization. From science to poetry to rhymes Sayyid became Sayyid Amir or “Master Prince”. Sayyid is the award recipient of multiple scholarships for academics. He attends Historic Fisk University in Nashville TN were he majors in business and interns at its popular jazz radio station. His musical influences include Hieroglyphics, LL Cool J, Nas, Lupe, Common, Kanye West, and Wu Tang Clan.

Deone Fields Age: 20 - Deone "Scrap" Fields, is a known percussionist around Music City and is the elder member of Life In The Front Seat. As a trained percussionist Deone serves as one of the most sought after African instrument drummers in the city. Deone is passionate when creating music and rhythms. His maturity as a musician continues to flourish with time embodying a distinctive and energetic sound. Deone is a community leader, serving as a mentor for middle and high school students with The Village Community Development Center. Fields currently attends Nashville State College pursuing a degree in music production. Deon’s musical influences include Kanye West, Tribe Called Quest, Jay-Z and Outkast..

Life In The Front Seat’s Mission Statement 

Beyond achieving a successful music career Life in The Front Seat’s mission goal is to spread awareness through their music about the excessive criminalization and incarceration of youth via the cradle to prison pipeline system. Systematic private management of prisons and detention centers promotes profiling and zero tolerance practices. These practices support the excessive private and public incarceration of American youth, especially minority youth. Life In The Front Seat are artist activist using their voices and music to bring awareness to critical issues effecting their generation. Issues such as peer pressure, teen suicide and bullying. Life In The Front Seat is passionate about preventing the pipeline to prison epidemic. “Music is the largest platform to connect with the youth so it’s imperative if given the opportunity to use this platform to help rather hinder” LiTfS Management.
