Bio

LIFE AFTER LIFTOFF is collectively a brotherhood and a phenomenon between Lee Weiss, Christopher Glover, Eric Gregory, Maxwell Moon, and Alex Kukla. The band's formation began in late 2008 with the break up of the former Dayton, Ohio based band, “Maintain Composure.” Front man of the former band, Lee Weiss had the original vision for the band “LAL” and wanted to get started right away. Soon after, Weiss was joined by Christopher Glover from another successful band based out of Dayton, Ohio named “Singed.” Glover played in “Singed” for over a year touring the nation, but when it was brought to his attention of what was to come with “LAL,” he decided to walk away from his past and prepare for liftoff. Soon after the addition of co-founder Christopher Glover, Eric and Alex (formerly in “Girls Go To Jupiter”), and Maxwell (formerly in “Liferuiner”) joined, completing this Dayton, Ohio based group known as LIFE AFTER LIFTOFF...

With years of individual experience, several tours under their belt, and an impressive track record, “LAL” has become one of the most noticed “Up and Coming” Artists in the Nation. With a DIY attitude and thousands of fans worldwide, LIFE AFTER LIFTOFF has created an irresistible buzz in today’s music scene. Collectively, after playing sold-out shows with bands like: Boys Like Girls, Angels and Airwaves, Good Charlotte, All Time Low, Metro Station, Forever The Sickest Kids, Cartel, Motion City Soundtrack, The Color Fred, and many other internationally ranked artists the question we seek for you to answer is, “Are you ready for liftoff?”

Combining powerful guitar riffs, catchy hooks, pop melodies, punchy bass lines, and power-house drumming, LIFE AFTER LIFTOFF has created a pure anthem-like sound to call their own. “LAL is going to be the biggest band out of Ohio within the past fifteen years...” says manager and booking agent Bruce Hablutzel from Starzz Promotions.. With Tom Delonge (Blink-182, Angels And Airwaves, Boxcar Racer), Alex Gaskarth (All Time Low), Jack Barakat (All Time Low), Hayley Williams (Paramore), Nick Thompson (Hit The Lights), and Nathaniel Motte (3OH!3) backing “LAL,” you know that they are doing something right…

“We like to consider ourselves pioneers on a frontier of music that no one has ever attempted to conquer. We are doing something that no other band has ever even tried to do before, and this time we are going to succeed. There is no room for error on this album, everything we are doing has to be 10,000 times bigger and better than anything else we have ever done before. When you first listen to LAL, we want you to hear that this album is not just a pop record and not just a punk record. We want this album to move you while telling you an epic story that is heroic and inspirational. We want you to embrace the positive messages that our music embodies and you should feel like you are literally taking off into another world, away from all worries and fears. We want this album to bring you that hope that you have been looking for... We are ready for liftoff, are you?” says lead song writers on the album Lee Weiss and Christopher Glover.
