Head of independent electronic label Ricochet Records, Lifecycle has spent the last decade producing alternative psychedelic sounds for the feet and soul, with vinyl and digital releases on Glack Audio, Londonbreakz, Electrofly and Loöq Records.
Approaching the stage more like a defrosted prog rock outfit than your average live dance act, the full Lifecycle live band holds their fusion of styles together with an emphasis on true live performance, warping vocals and instruments throughout via a laptop and guitar-mounted MIDI controllers.
The live band was formed after the 2009 release of Luxury Condominium, redirecting the Broken Tech sound to new directions and performing live shows in London (Rhythm Factory, Gramaphone, Ginglik, Bull & Gate [RIP], Water Rats, Nambucca), around the UK (Brighton, Cumbria, Liverpool, Bristol) and overseas (San Francisco's Qool, Slovenia's K4 and Lithuania's Tundra Festival)
Recent releases have been described by the press as 'lavishly psychedelic', 'invigoratingly intense', 'on crack', 'tensely unpredictable', 'thinking man's tear out', 'admirably meditative' and 'euphoric breakbeat-techno tormented by glorious bassline gluttony'.
