Bio

Lifedown is a dynamic up and coming rock group from Connecticut. Lifedown originated several years ago, when long time friends Randy Merchant, Dave Suhocke and Dan Harris began what would be the stepping stone for an exciting career in the world of Rock music. Dave, bass guitar, Randy, drums, and Dan, lead guitar, formed a solid unity with unassailable skill and extraordinary talent.

In July 2006, Dennis Leighton joined Lifedown. Dennis' powerful vocals, unique writing style and focused ambition lended charisma and energy to the group. Dennis was already an established singer/song writer prior to joining Lifedown. He had performed in his early years at school choir events, practicing his vocal techniques, then moved onto venues such as the Lucky Dog, in Worcester, MA. Dennis participated in various other musical endeavors before finding his niche with Lifedown.

In late 2007, Lifedown welcomed their newest member, Dave Harvey into the group. Dave presented a fresh and creative prospective to the band. The five members have formed a tight knit family and their unity is obvious by the repeated successes they have shared and the growth they have experienced in the past year.

Lifedown's influences are anchored by artists such as System of a Down, Pantera and Metallica, the result being a strong lead guitar and resounding bass lines. Lifedown's sound is intense and expressive, invoking an array of emotions.

Lifedown is currently in the process of recording their debut album, The Childhood Betray, as well as performing at various venues throughout New England.
Lifedown is presently searching for new venues to perform and are looking to expand their fan base to exceed the Tri-state area. Lifedown's successes include performing as an opening act for Stone sour and maintaining the number one request slot on WCNI Asylum Radio for several weeks in a row.
