Bio
Life in a Glasshouse are a four piece Alternative Indie-Rock band from Carlisle formed in early September 2011. Our members are: Callum Hurrell (vox and rhythm guitar) Tom Reay Bennett (drums) Jamie Burrell (bass) and Andrew Thompson (lead guitar). At the moment we all study Music Performance in Carlisle College. Although when we leave we hope to be a full time gigging band.
We use energetic rhythms, riffs, melodic bass-lines and varied vocal styles to really set ourselves apart from others in the area. Although we have a very distinct style we have been compared to some of our biggest influences, such as: Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon, We are Scientists, Biffy Clyro and Coldplay. We are currently in the middle of recording our first album and are arranging an album launch at ‘The Brickyard’ in Carlsile.
Members in our band have had a lot of years’ experience in gigging in venues as large as the 02 arena in London for the final of ‘Live and Unsigned’
Our whole band thrive to perform and although we are in early days we have big plans for our band and have a lot to offer.
