"origiVation Album Review"

Life Slides Down has a cool Local H/Queens of the Stone Age vibe about them. On Faulty Wiring, the lead off track "Free" sets the pace with distorted vocals, grungy guitars and thunderous drums. "Faulty Wiring" is my favorite track; it's a straight-up, rocking tune. This is a solid release from the Philly-based band. If you have a chance, check them out! - T.R. Riter

Bio

In the summer of 2003, Joe Hubbard met John Baker and through their love of music, the two quickly struck up a friendship. By the spring of 2005, Life Slides Down was born with Michael Litt on drums. The trio began playing shows in the Philadelphia area with hopes of garnering attention and support. Sure enough, they began to catch on and acquire a loyal following.

Life Slides Down's music hits you upside the noggin with a brick of straightforward, crunching rock, but quickly cushions the blow with catchy beats and melodic layering. Their sound intertwines hard rock, punk, garage, Seattle and the Indie underground without directly catering to any pre-described formula. Their vocal assault contains both gritty, emotional yawps and ominous harmonies.

As they take their music to the masses, each member of Life Slides Down brings something special to their live performances; be it Joe's biting intensity, John’s unbridled enthusiasm, or Mike's steady, powerhouse rhythm.

Life Slides Down is currently focused on promoting their debut album, Faulty Wiring. With a busy summer schedule and the support of their loyal fans and friends, the band is looking forward to getting their music into the heads and hearts of as many people as possible.
