Light Ends Darkness

Light Ends Darkness has come along way from its beginnings.  Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Ben and Sarai first met in a small inner city church.  They would have never imagined what was in store for them.

They reconnected through Sarai’s husband and mutual friend suggesting they do a collaboration.  As a result they joined forces in a band called SuperHerose. With SuperHerose, they made special appearances throughout tours with TobyMac and Diverse City.  They were seen performing on the “TobyMac Hip Rock Funk Soul Tour” and the main stage at the Big Ticket Festival.  They were also featured on his compilation albums such as “TobyMac’s Hip Rock Funk Soul Mixtape” featuring their singles “SuperFreak” and “We Got That”.  Later that same year, they had the honor of featuring their Christmas single “Birth of Love” on Toby’s GMA Dove Award nominated album “Christmas in Diverse City”.  After some time, Ben and Sarai were inspired to spark a new movement – Light Ends Darkness – L.E.D.  With a new sound and a new mission, L.E.D has been working diligently in the studio to bring positivity, light, and hope into a dark world.  Their dynamic vocals, Pop melodies, Hip Hop, Rock and Soul inspired production, is sure to make them a staple in today’s music industry. 

Light Ends Darkness has had the privilege of performing on the Television Broadcasting Network (TBN) on the JCTV show and the television program, FOX 8 News in the Morning in Cleveland, Ohio.  They have their music played on national and international radio stations reaching thousands. They have also teamed up with the Campus Impact program standing up against bullying and have taken the “Be a Light Tour” throughout the school districts in Northeast Ohio

Here are some of the events L.E.D has been apart of and some of the artists they have worked with; TobyMac and Diverse City, Byron "Mr. Talkbox" Chambers, DJ Maj (from TobyMac's Diverse City band), Fireflight, Shine Bright Baby and many other artists sharing the same message of hope.  They have also headlined the "Unashamed" Youth Conference at House of Praise International Church in Lorain, Ohio, United Festival in Birmingham, Ohio, RED-4-Christ Youth Conference in Cleveland, Ohio, the "Christian Showcase" at Church on the Rise in Westlake, Ohio, “The Freedom Fest” at The Church on Strayer in Maumee, Ohio, The “Alive Festival 2014” in Mineral City, Ohio and most recently performed at the “HipHop/Worship Concert” at Oasis Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
