Bio
Light Bright is an experimental fusion of hip-hop, punk rock, and jazz created to celebrate music and inspire you to shake that ass. Originally formed in Canaan Connecticut by lead vocalist and bass guitarist Steve Bunce and vibraphonist Dylan Vadakin, the majority of the bands growth took place after it moved to Boston, MA in 2011. While attending Berklee College of Music, Light Bright gained tenor saxophonist Kyle Lankton, alto and tenor saxophonist Sebastian Molnar, guitarist and vocalist Kevin Erskine, and drummer Federico Romeo. Within a short time playing together, the band had begun developing it’s sound and performing in the Boston area with national acts such as Coolio, Stones Foxes, and The Endangered Speeches. Light Bright’s primary focus during this stage in it’s development is growth through live performance, though the band’s first comprehensive EP is in the works and set to be released in October of 2013.
