Lightfield came together in the summer of 2010 as Jacob Leblanc, Thomas Harper, and Robby Richard, the three initial members of all-original rock bands Greyline and Shipwreck Sky.They recruited Guillaume Alis as their bass player that same year.
Lightfield delivers a wide array of powerful and in-your-face riffs and great melodies with solid rock choruses.
After spending six months writing and arranging material, the band self-produced a full-length album of hard-hitting songs and stirring power ballads.
Lightfield's self-titled album debuted in July 2011, garnering the attention of Venerated Music, an independent record label. It is available online through all major digital outlets. The band is currently working on booking live performances and writing new material for a 2012 release with Venerated Music.
