With his second full-length release, Practical, Sean Marshall steps to the front of the stage with two musical priorities: his voice and a song.
Since the critically respected release of New in 2017, the Ohio-based lyricist has embraced his songwriting skills in their purist and simplest form. But Marshall is not alone: his band, The Near Miss, is just behind him in tow, keeping simplicity and the sanctity of song in mind.
In all its vulnerability, Practical presents the conflicts between conventionality and originality, domesticity and voyeurism, home and the stage. Marshall and band can be heard in bars, breweries, and music venues throughout the Midwest.
