Originating from Southern California, Light of Doom is far from what they appear to be. With straight up rock & roll riffs under dynamic dual vocals, these teens have decided to branch off from what most kids their age are playing & dive into something deeper.
In the summer of 2005, Mitchell & Dillon met at Exp Studios in Escondido California. After weeks of jamming together they decided to form a band. Two years and many bass players later, Lucas & Daniel joined the band completing the line up. In 2007 they spent several months competing on the Fox T.V. show “The Next Great American Band” where they took 4th place. Soon after the show, they decided to part ways with their lead singer. The band, after the show, went through a complete style change. After months of searching for a new singer, they decided that Lucas and Daniel would sing together. Soon after, they went to work and wrote several new songs. Playing as much as they could, they have played with bands such as Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster, A Stattic Lullaby, Attack Attack & Confied. They recently flew to Florida to record a 4 track demo with Kelly Scott Nunn of Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster who recorded and produced it.
Only time will tell what is in store for the band. They are continuing to progress and are more then ready for what ever comes their way. One thing is for sure though, they are all extremely thankful for all their homies & fans for sticking with them and supporting them for so long.
