Bio

Lights Resolve is a 3-piece alternative rock band from New York. The sound of Lights Resolve has been said to emulate the volume and size of stadium rock, while still focusing on the details of artistic and progressive music. Live programmed loops, engaging choruses, layered instrumentals and original effects all mixed with sweat, spit and blood add to the resonance of a Lights Resolve performance. Drawing influence from bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Queen and Radiohead, Lights Resolve is able to fuse musical genres to create an alternative rock sound that satisfies both the diehard rocker and the young pop fanatic. Their live show is an artfully driven visual and auditory experience - made up of synergetic instrumental arrangements, crowd involvement and every ounce of the band's energy left out on stage.

As an experience-oriented group, Lights Resolve delivers a sonically diverse and cinematic performance. After touring Asia as a former band and touring clubs to arenas throughout the US with their current ensemble, Lights Resolve has perked the ears of fans and industry alike. As an unsigned artist, Lights Resolve has toured with multi-platinum recording artists such as The Used, Panic at the Disco, Dashboard Confessional, We The Kings and Shiny Toy Guns just to name a few. They have solidified choice market radio play, been featured in multiple major print and digital publications, including a Rolling Stone and The New York Post, placed "Another Five Days" and “Dreaming of Love” on video games to television, been the focal point of an extended MTV2 “bumpers” campaign, have their own dedicated "On Demand" special on NYC's Time Warner On Demand. They’ve played TV performances on national and international syndicated networks and to date have sold over 10,000 copies of three self-released EP’s. "Dreaming of Love" (the band's last single) has been featured on Rock Band and was the #6 most downloaded song in the game.

2011 finds Lights Resolve gearing up for a debut full-length release of "Feel You're Different." The record was Produced/Engineered/Mixed by Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday) and Mastered by Emily Lazar & Joe LaPorta (Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend). This album showcases the band's more aggressive, expansive and honest music/lyrics that have always been captured in their live shows...this is the one that will change the temperature in the room.
