Liilo

Liilo is a 17 year old Artist born in Jamaica raised in London, the love child a Jamaican beach boy and a french/Italian club security guard. Liilo grew up in the colourful and vibrant Hackney of East London, and was raised by her mother who was a relativity known club security guard in the 90's from ministry of sound. She grew up with garage and house from her mother, classic rock from her grandmother, and heavy metal from her uncle, who she says smashed out welcome to the jungle every road trip to Thomas the Tank Engine World. Liilo went to her first nightclub at the age of 14 in Spain with her mum, this was when she truly fell in love with EDM music, realising just how magical the club world was, of course she became obsessed. A few years later at the age of 16 her best friend (Fashion photographer Yuhei Taichi) took her to her first warehouse rave, which was where drum and bass kidnapped her. Liilo was born with extreme hearing problems and had surgery for her hearing at the age of 6, she believes that going from practically deaf to healthy hearing, is what makes her have a sharp and deep love for music. Liilo is currently living in London and is going to be releasing her album Gemini Moon, in March 2016, so keep your eyes and hears open ! Great things will always come knocking.
